With the dungeon tunnels, they quickly arrived at the city that the spy was in.
It was made even faster by the fact that Lin Fan called Hi out.
Hi had also been evolving during this time since it had been absorbing all of the spiritual energy inside of the Pet Storage Space. At the same time, with all of the new forms of energy in the Pet Storage Space, it really seemed like it was about to develop new powers at any time.
With how much it had evolved during this time, it had gotten much faster than Igneel.
The main reason that Lin Fan used Igneel as my main mode of transportation was because Hi still wasn't able to run through the sky yet. It was only able to run on the ground, so it didn't have the same mobility as Igneel did.
In the end, being able to fly through the sky and cut directly through the air was the biggest difference.
But it wasn't the same when there was a single path.
That was when Hi was much faster.
At the same time, Hi was able to transform to a bigger size, so it was able to fit all three of them without a problem.
In the end, they didn't arrive right under the city that the spy was in. Instead, they arrived at a tunnel that was near the city, but not there yet.
This was because they couldn't just take the tunnel that was under the city to head into the city. The main reason that the tunnels were deep under the city in the first place was because they were supposed to be hidden.
It would be much harder to hide these tunnels if they were actually connected to the surface.
At the same time, it would be hard to use these tunnels to go to the surface since it wasn't as if they had territory in these cities to connect to. To get those territory, it would mean telling others about the dungeon tunnels and it would be hard to keep this hidden from the subordinates.
So the only choice was to appear outside of the city in an abandoned place with no one around.
Once they came out of the tunnel, the first thing that they did was head to the road and walk to the city like normal travelers.
It would have been easy for them to enter the city with the authority and status that Lin Fan possessed, but they didn't do that. They were here on a secret mission to capture the spy from the magic continent after all.
After entering the city, the first thing that Lin Fan did was pull out the system panel.
As the owner of the Dungeon Master System, he was able to use the same functions as Rokuko. Since they were currently above the dungeon tunnels, that meant that he could access the powers of the dungeon without any problems.
But instead of using the same list that Rokuko did, Lin Fan pulled out the map.
Only the map that he pulled out was different from the one that Rokuko pulled out.
This time, there were labels on the different dots that were on the map.
But with just a few taps from Lin Fan, he was able to get rid of some of the labels. In fact, he was even able to get rid of some of the dots that were on the map.
He just completely filtered out everything that he didn't want to see and there was only a single dot that was left on the map.
This dot was the target that they were looking for.
Currently that target was idle and didn't seem to be on the move.
That meant that it was the perfect time to capture the target.
Following the map, they found that he was currently sitting in the middle of a restaurant. And with the dot, Lin Fan was able to easily find which person in the restaurant was the one that he was looking for.
That person couldn't help sticking out like a sore thumb since he looked completely different from everyone else.
The biggest factor was his appearance.
He had blonde hair and blue eyes, very different from everyone else that was on this cultivation continent. But most people didn't care about that since there were all kinds of people in this world.
There were those that had red hair and red eyes, there were those with blue hair and blue eyes. The fact that the appearance of cultivators changed with their cultivation techniques, most people just assumed that he was a cultivator.
At the same time, there was this strange feeling that was coming from him that was similar to the aura that cultivators released.
That allowed him to perfectly blend in here on the cultivation continent.
This spy named Florian was just sitting at one of the tables alone and it seemed like he was observing the people around him. It didn't really seem like there was anything that he could gain from these people that he observed, but that really didn't matter.
The only thing that mattered was…
"I'll take care of it."
Xiao Yue and Tian Tian didn't seem to want to end this that quickly. At the same time, they seemed like they wanted to help.
But there was nothing that they could do or say since this was the best course of action.
If Lin Fan took care of it, they would be able to capture this Florian without any problems.
So seeing that they didn't say anything, Lin Fan just quickly snatched him up. After trapping Florian and putting him away in his Minor World, Lin Fan also picked up Xiao Yue and Tian Tian.
Without any hesitation, he left the city by jumping over the walls, so no one would be able to stop him.
It was only when he was out of the city that he found a secluded place to enter the Minor World with Xiao Yue and Tian Tian.
Though Florian had been thrown into the Minor World like this, it didn't seem like he was panicking. Instead, it seemed like he was slowly observing everything around him, almost as if he was confident in finding a way out of this place.
The calm that he showed was even a bit annoying to Lin Fan, but he didn't let that bother him as he watched him for a bit.
But after watching for a bit, Lin Fan decided to show himself.
"Who are…" Florian didn't get to finish his words at all as a fist hit him in the stomach.
A look of shock and pain appeared on Florian's face as he definitely didn't expect to be hit in the stomach like this. But after he crumpled to the floor, there was no hesitation as he suddenly called out a sword from thin air.
This sword was grabbed in his hand and it seemed like he wanted to fight back, but the sword didn't even last a single second against Lin Fan's fist.
"Crack."
That was the only sound that was heard as Lin Fan's fist went right through the sword and snapped it in half. Florian then crumpled on the ground with the same look of shock and pain on his face as he couldn't believe what happened.
It seemed that he had quite the pain tolerance with how quickly he recovered after each attack.
With the sword that he summoned, Florian must be some kind of knight.
But regardless of what he was, it didn't matter since the first thing that Lin Fan had to do was beat him into submission.
He didn't care about anything that Florian had to say as he completely ignored him when Florian tried to reason with him. He just continued beating up Florian even as he tried to get Lin Fan to stop.
It was only after he saw the notifications appear and he engaged the Love Gauge Taming skill that he finally stopped.
Right after he finished using the Love Gauge Taming skill, Lin Fan asked, "What is this star grade that you're ranked by?"
Florian was completely caught off guard when he heard this since it was clear that he didn't expect this to be the first question that he was asked.
He just looked at Lin Fan with a strange look without answering, as if he was trying to figure out what Lin Fan wanted. But seeing that Lin Fan didn't say anything and just looked at him calmly, he explained what it was.
It turned out that star grade was the way for humans on the magic continent to become stronger.
Unlike the beasts of the magic continent that became stronger by evolving, humans on the magic continent gathered mana through stars in their heart. The star grade was a measure of how many stars that they had formed in their hearts.
And based on the aura that Lin Fan felt from Florian, he could tell that each star was equal to a major realm of cultivation. With Florian's two stars, he was equal to someone in the Foundation Realm.
As for the level, it was a measure of how far they were in the realm.
Level 34 meant that he had already broken through the Low Foundation Realm and reached the Mid Foundation Realm.
It was a different form of gaining power, but at least it had its equivalent.
"Then there's the ten star realm that's considered the domain of gods."
Gods…
Did that mean that they were equal to immortals?
But after that, what came next?
After all, immortals were still able to keep cultivating to become even stronger.
So the magic continent's method of getting stronger should have something equivalent.
