In every stage of reality that Rowan had experienced, there was a single constant that had been present in all of them, and that was the strong preying on the weak.
From Dominators, gods, and other lesser immortals who oppress mortals, taking their resources and lives in the lower realms, to higher-dimensional immortals taking advantage of entire universes, plundering them for all the souls they contained, Rowan found it strange that he had not considered Primordials to be doing the same, just on a scale so vast it was hard to put into context.
The Primordials had never been concerned with maintaining reality; they had simply been parasites draining it dry of its resources. Yet something had occurred that not only prevented them from finishing this process but also trapped a lot of their powers inside this reality. What was it?
The Primordials craved Primordial Essence, it was the only power source that could fuel their infinite nature, a small part of Rowan's mind wondered if this power source was originally known as Primordial Essence or if it was simply a moniker made by the Primordials to deceive all of reality as to the source of their power.
There was no longer any Primordial Essence left in reality, and if the Primordials were invaders, then either trapping their offshoots inside of reality had prevented them from leaving, or they were still waiting for something.
Rowan did not think anything could trap Primordials if they wanted to leave, they had invested too much inside of reality for them not to have any more stakes in it, no, they were still coming for more.
If Primordial Essence was the appetizer, then the main course was still left behind, and these powerful entities were willing to wait, even weaken themselves, so they would have the opportunity to collect this unknown resource.
Rowan had a nose for weakness and he smelled one here, this delicate game being played between the Primordials, their long silence, and the so many other small details that he was glimpsing in the background all suggested to Rowan that there was weakness here that he would be foolish not to take advantage of.
No matter how strong they were, the weakness of the Primordials was their domain, and that was a good thing because Rowan's talent and bloodlines were uniquely suited to fight battles on multiple fronts.
Rowan had confirmed his speculation, and the final thing that he needed to achieve before he left Limbo, was to see it.
All these while, he had been under the coverage of Primordial's Life Memories, and although this made it possible for him a sixth-dimensional soul to stand upon Limbo, a place only meant for ninth-dimensional Will Holders like the Primordials, this coverage also affected his sight, and he could not truly see Limbo, all he had to go off of was the Memory from the Primordial Record, and Rowan wanted to change that.
Trying to peer into a ninth-dimensional realm was beyond insane, but Rowan had gone beyond the point of no return, it was not as if he could keep borrowing the Memories of the Primordial to return to this place and slowly investigate it, that was simply not possible.
After this excursion, Rowan would be destroying the Memory of Primordial Life, he could not keep it, he was not strong enough, and if it was not destroyed, then this Memory would return to Primordial Life.
Not one to delay his actions when he had made a decision, Rowan's dimensional soul braced for whatever was to come, fully aware that he would be capable of holding back only a fraction of the forces that were about to converge on his position, he shattered the Memory of Primordial Life.
Many things happened at the same time, the first thing was that he was being expelled from Limbo by a frightening amount of force, he simply lacked the necessary weight for him to stand on this land, and although this force was stupendous, there was something about him being a living dimension that dissipated so much of it around him, and so, instead of being crushed to pieces, he was simply flung back into reality with speeds that exceeded everything that he could have ever imagined, this saved his life.
The second thing that happened was that Rowan was able to see Limbo, it was the barest of a glimpse, but since he considered this place to be a ninth-dimensional realm, that glimpse was enough to fill his soul to the brim, and Rowan was placed in a sort of coma as he was blasted back into reality due to being filled with so much information that his powerful dimensional soul had stalled in order to process them. Rowan's body crossed the Nothingness like a meteor, blazing past so fast that he alarmed anyone who caught sight of his passing, and the only beings who were even able to see a glimpse of his passage were Old Ones and the shock in their hearts were indescribable due to the speeds that whatever had passed them by had been using. There were certain observatories made by Primordial Domains stationed outside reality to monitor the Nothingness, and when Rowan's dimensional soul began blazing closer to reality, countless alarms were triggered, but this event was so high level that the majority of beings were not aware of this changes, only the few at the top knew that something traveling at speeds beyond anything they had ever recorded was heading towards Reality.
Of the Old Ones who were alerted to this change, Elura and Seed were the first to know. At this time, Seed was waiting for Rowan to return to the Land of Miracles, he had made plans with Elura about what to do with this talented child, and although Elura did not agree with most of them, he was surprised that she gave her permission to him. He had not told her about the status of Rowan's Will and how he was able to achieve Will as a third dimensional entity, and he expected to have brought forth this information before Elura agreed with his plans.
This made Seed even more suspicious of his grandson, what else did Elura know about him that he was missing?
