Chapter 649 - 649: Soul Universe [Bonus]

When Kent fell into a deep sleep, he truly fell asleep. It was a rather good sleep, one that, if intentional, would have left him happy and fulfilled. However, this wasn't the case for him since this was controlled sleep. Sёarch* The NovelZone.fun website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

The five years of sleep were resounding. However, in the sixth year, his consciousness awakened inside a very dark space. There was nothing but darkness.

Kent, of course, didn't know what was happening, but he didn't want to remain in that darkness for long. Thankfully, a few months after he woke up in the darkness, a light appeared.

Tiny at first, but as the months passed, it began to grow large, filling the space. Eventually, he could see as far as his eyes could see.

Perhaps that distance was just a few meters from him, considering the entire place was white, so he doesn't know just how far it went.

He regretted wishing for light. So he closed his eyes, and for unknown years to come, he remained in the darkness until today, when he heard a voice.

"Hello, stranger," the voice jerked him awake. When he opened his eyes, it took him three good hours to adjust to the light.

But when he did, his eyes fell on perhaps the most handsome man he had ever seen. Chaos came close, but he wasn't quite on the level of this man.

He had white hair, perfect bone structure, and his golden eyes made Kent question whether his own purple eyes could look that dreamy.

The man allowed him to get whatever weird and shameful thing he was thinking about out of the way. Naturally, it took Kent a while. After admiring the man's handsomeness, which made him jealous by all standards, his eyes landed on something else.

The man had no aura at all, and even Kent's Enchanted eyes were not working. This could only mean one thing: he was stronger than Kent's eyes could see. Kent's curiosity was piqued.

'He is strong. In fact, he is stronger than Chaos, which begs the question: Who was this man?'

Kent looked at the man for a few minutes before he asked, "Who are you?"

The man looked at Kent, too, as if determining something. After a few minutes, he smiled and said, "I approve. You are worthy to carry this mantle."

"As for my name, I can't say, because I go by many and have lived many, just like you have." Kent arched his brow, hearing what the man said.

"I can call you Kent Madson, but if you like, I will call you Chaos, or do you prefer Faceless? Though Jaqen is not a bad name if you ask me."

For every name the man mentioned, Kent found himself wondering just what the hell was going on. However, instead of feeling scared or violated, he was rather happy.

That was what made him wonder what kind of hell he had found himself in. But in the end, he had to answer: "You can call me Kent."

"Then, Kent, do you know why you are here?" the man asked, and Kent smiled. It was his turn to monologue.

"Under normal circumstances, I would say that was a stupid question, considering you can read my mind and already know why I am here.

Also, you seem to be the one who brought me here, so why ask this? However, since I know you can perhaps kill me with a snap of your finger, I will forgive you and answer your question.

I am here because I have a soul cultivation path in my soul that I am trying to awaken." Kent smiled in the end.

The man stared at him for a few seconds before bursting into resounding laughter.

"You are funny, Kent. I like that. Not only are you crazy, you are also unyielding. Adding that to your sense of humour, I say you have what it takes to take on this mantle."

Kent smirked, but he was happy being praised by this man whose strength, according to Kent's estimation, was even higher than a Celestial.

"Very well. You are here because of this:" The man took out a cube. It had no writings on it; it was just a plain golden cube.

"This is the soul path you are after. It is the reason you are here. But before I tell you what it does, what can you tell me about soul attacks?"

Kent thought for a moment and answered, "Soul attacks are attacks that affect the soul directly by ignoring physical defenses."

"That is indeed true. However, what if I were to tell you soul attacks can affect the physical body too?" the man asked.

"I will say this is my first time hearing that. Soul attacks are meant to affect only the soul." Kent was puzzled to hear something this ridiculous; however, the man smiled.

"That is true, but with the path you are about to walk, you can attack both the body and soul. I don't have much time, so I'll try to summarize everything.

First, the path is called Soul Universe, and as its name suggests, you will indeed cultivate a universe within your soul.

This means you will create planets, starfields, galaxies, and more. You will be able to develop celestial bodies, such as stars and moons, and even simulate human life.

However, while the idea of creating humans or beasts may sound appealing, this path is intended solely for battle.

So the moment you bring them out, their job is to kill and be gone. Additionally, I'm unsure how far life created using this Soul Art will extend, but I'm sure that it has endless potential. Do hold it firm." The man smiled.

"Imagine plucking stars and throwing them at your opponents, throwing galaxies at your enemies. I say that is something you shouldn't take for granted.

Of course, it will take a lot of hard work and energy, but with consistency and unyielding determination, you will one day rise to the peak with nothing but your wits."

The man's figure started to fade away.

"So you still won't tell me your name?" Kent was in shock, but seeing the man fade away, he wanted to know something about him at least

"Train hard, Kent Madson. Soon, we will meet again; perhaps this time, I will be the one who needs your help."

Kent watched the man's figure gradually fade away. However, before his presence completely vanished, he said a few last words.

"I look forward to meeting you again, Kent Madson. And you can call me The Paragon.
