The Great Spirit God, Easely, continued with the explanation.
«The World Tree bears many fruits on the ground, providing a blessing for the spirits to exist, but it is through the divine power granted by the gods that it grows into the grandiose tree that you know.»
(Heh, so simply having World Tree bearing fruit wouldn't make it sprout? Well, given the ample amount of fruit World Tree can bear, it would indeed be a problem if all of them sprouted on the surface. Now I see why Rosen and Fabre had been continuously nurturing it with their divine power.)
Founding a new snippet of knowledge, Allen swiftly recorded it in Grimorie's memo function. To him, they remind him of the tree that would only grow in the high temperature area of volcanos.
"Our main objective to visit this place was to meet Pecktan, who is said to be the summon beast candidate to defeat Demon King. May I have your permission to turn it into a summon beast?"
Promptly, Allen paraphrased his objective.
«The trial to turn the World Tree into a sapling has already been completed. Feel free to proceed as you wish. At the end, this was indeed the end goal behind sprouting the divine seed. I believe Pecktan must have been in anticipation for this day.»
To begin with, they'd yet to be properly rewarded for their trial---where they'd to triumph over Spirit Beast God, a tough opponent undoubtedly---but it seemed contracting Pecktan didn't require any other condition or so.
Perhaps, it was just the word of the Great Spirit God that triggered the start, a new entry appeared in the log of Grimorie Allen had taken out to record details.
«God-S Summon Beast Candidate presence detected. You're to promptly use the Sacred Beast Stone and absorb the sapling of the World Tree.»
(Wow, no negotiation? This... is going unexpectedly smooth. Hmm, but since Lupto had urged me, I think she might have already paved the groundwork.)
Well, Great Spirit God sure didn't miss out on his complaint right off the bad, but the hassle wasn't so much. Not bad. Allen rejoiced inwardly and thrusted the sacred beast stone in the direction of spring.
«Purunp!»
Pecktan had also just jumped in his direction. It band itself and took a great leap like a swimmer's dive toward him, its hand outstretched in the same direction.
*Poof*
In barely a moment, Pecktan crashed against the sacred beast stone, and turned into a light bubble, and subsequently was absorbed into it.
«The sapling Pecktan's material body has been completely absorbed. Reconstruction the body into a summoned beast...... Reconstruction complete.»
"How should I say---wow, it was so straightforward, no?"
«The seal of the Grass S summoned beast has been lifted. Do you wish to summon the Grass S summoned beast?»
And at last, the seal from Grass S had also lifted.
"Hurray! One more S-rank summed beast is now here. Hehe, the slots are really being filled quite fast in the Divine Realm. Alright. I choose you---Packtan."
Allen excitedly summoned his new S-rank contract.
"Oooh!"
"Hmm, it didn't look any different though, no?"
"It's another entry in your achievement, Allen-sama!"
Allen wasn't alone, and Sophia and Luck appeared just as much impressed.
The divine seed was already given a name, so there was no change in it even after turning into summon beast.

As Luke had muttered, there were barely any changes within the appearance of Pecktan; that of a large, red-capped mushroom. It did sport the poisonous-ish color palette, but it strangely reminded Allen of a creature from a game he had played in his previous life, bringing a sense of nostalgia.
(So, now all the Grass types are complete huh. I must say, even though the earlier types were diverse enough---like fruit and vegetable---mushroom being the top is quite surprising. And its blessing is Life Cycle... it feels like the World Tree's blessing, but it's still hard to grasp.)

(And the status... it sure doesn't inspire the image that it's made for combat. The skills are quite easy to understand, but fungus bad cultivation? It resembles the insect category thing. Could it be able to have kids like them too?)
And as the ceremony goes, the first thing that Allen does was to analyse the role his new summoned beast could play in combat, his eyes resting on roaming Packtan.
It's status indicates it was made for anything but combat. Grass-type summoned beasts generally just had low stats, except for their mana and luck, and even that was due to their blessing.
"Well, it doesn't seem like we have any reason to overstay."
(Besides, I haven't yet had the time to properly analyze Leon's ability. I think this can be done together with Cecil's level up huh...)
Dilemma was often a common thing when there were too many unknowns, Allen murmured. Yeah, I should whisk away quickly. My time's better spent here.
«Allen-san, we can hear you.?
"A-ah, I apologise. Sophia, Luck. His Excellency is asking if there's anything else. Do you have something you need help with?"
Realising his monologue had been heard, Allen promptly threw the baton of topic to his two teammates in an attempt to gloss over it.
"The sapling's growth is done, right? Then, Fabre should come with us!"
«Luck, it's by the effort of everyone that I can become a god. I can grant power, but I can't go with you.»
"Come on! Don't say that! No one cares about it!"
Alongside Allen, it seemed Luck had his plan to bring Spirit God Fabre with him.
«The guide of Dark Elf. It's not good to be pushy. We all live within the bounds of laws. The support is easy, but he can't take any action beyond that. Or else, it would be committing a taboo, and the godhood would be nor more.»
"What the heck! Then how come Meruru is with Digragni, who became a god!?"
«Luck!!»
Luck exploded with emotion toward the Great Spirit God, and Fabre couldn't help but raise his voice in admonishment. Sophia and Formar watched the situation unfold in surprise, while Rosen wore a concerned expression.
(He has a point though. But, the Great Spirit God doesn't seem to be putting any fetter for personal reasons. And I think Digragni is still acting within the realm of law?)
Allen however was more focused to see what would be the response of the Great Spirit God, and quietly saw the situation unfolding.
Great Spirit God's seemed to have noticed Allen's gaze, and turned to Luck, speaking in a soft voice.
«With what I have heard, the dungeon core of Digragni-san---which is his soul---is within the territory of the Magic God. Meanwhile, it was just one part of the body that had been offered to your friend's Golem.»
Sure enough, Digragni's actions were within the realm of reason.
"What......? H-hey, Allen! I know you can do something, so help me out!!"
Left with no other reason to argue, Luck turned to Allen, hoping he could provide a way for him to bring Fabre with himself.
"Luck. Fabre wouldn't have it easy if he ended up committing taboo. Give up."
In the end, Allen weaved a reasoning, and tried to pursue. He couldn't let Luck's name be smeared in case anything unfortunate occurs. After all, he was the future leader of Dark Elves.
"E-even you too......"
"It's not all gloom. Think about it. Since assisting us with his power isn't breaking the rules, then we might be able to act freely when the Demon King is no more."
«...Hmm, that's one way to say things. Whether he can stay in the human world is something to discuss with the Creator God, though.»
"If that's the case... Fine then. Fabre, I'll come for you after this is over."
Luck wasn't entirely accepting of the situation yet, however he decided to cease with his persuasion.
"Hmm, this is indeed plausible. Spirit God Rosen-sama, then I shall too put my effort in the war to make it happen."
«Haha. I will be waiting for that day.»
Rosen replied with a smile when she heard Sophia's resolution.
(Alright, this should cover all the topics.)
Allen thought, and was about to stand up when he heard the Great Spirit God.
«Hold on your legs. I amn't done with my talk yet.»
"O-ohh..."
«You must know about it, but I also have been invited to the Soul Rite festival yesterday by the Heavenly King. Oh, and it's not only me, but Harvest God has been invited too... Since it's an opportunity, how about I offer you some reward there, Allen-san?»
(Whoa, even the two pillars of Higher Gods have been summoned huh. I may have underestimated the event then.)
It was only now Allen realised perhaps the Soul Rite festival was a bigger deal than he had expected if even the two of 10 Higher Gods had been invited. Albeit, what caught his interest was the other remark.
"Wait, a reward?"
«Yes. Well, I would like it if you don't set your expectations high, but I think I can accommodate wishes within reason.»
(Hoho. ...Then there's only one thing I need---no, wait. From the conversation, I can adjust two of my requests, eh?)
In the situation of reward, no one entered the scene. As that was something for their party leader, Allen, to handle.
"Well, what do you think about this......"
«Heh. It's not impossible. I would like to hear details first.»
Great Spirit God showed an interest as he outright didn't reject Allen's plan.
"---And something like this. What do you think? I understand that you may have your position to consider..."
«I see. A reasonable request for a reward. As for the second one, you are using my hesitation... ahem, I will see how it can be achieved within reason.»
After receiving the words from Great Spirit God, Allen left the scene along with his team members.
It was also a busy moment for them. Not only did he have two new summoned beasts to analyze properly, Cecil also required help in leveling. For the time being, Allen and the others decided to return to the surface and head for the lowest floor of the S-rank dungeon.
Allen teleported with his companions to the base of the S-rank dungeon in the Bawkis Empire.
The Allen army had already prepared plenty of medals for the group to dive into the lowest strata of the dungeon. A majority was collected by the Allen Army by hunting down bosses from 2nd to 4th floor. But on the other hand, they also had bought substantial amounts of medals from adventurers.
Since it was barely worth the effort to dive into the deeper end of the dungeon---more so due to Goldino, the boss of lower strata whose difficulty rating was on par with archdemon---it was a win-win situation for adventurers. Having been in the same profession for so many years, and transitioning with the job tier, they were certainly a master in their task.
To the Allen Army, it was a training ground to acquire strength, and for adventurers, it was a place to strengthen their equipment.
Allen and his group didn't stop at the base checkpoint and continued to tread the path until they'd arrived at the lower strata from the central Yanpani Altar.
"O-Oh my, Allen-dono! And Lucktod-sama too?"
"Heya, it's been a while huh, General Bunzenbark?"
The Allen army's activities spanned across a vast range of locations, including Heavy User Island, the Academy, and the S-rank dungeon. They were also active at the Trial Gate in the Dragon God Magla's village, where they engaged in joint training with the dragonkin and item collection.
At Heavy User Island, the leadership was in hand of Beastman General Lud; at the Academy, the army was led by Elf General Lucidral, Dwarf General Zaurele, and Human General Ryback. The S-rank dungeon leadership worked on rotation basis, but for now, it was General Bunzenbark in charge.
As for the Academy, it requires development, so Elf and Dwarf forces are the best fit for the job.
After exchanging brief greetings with the generals and captains of the military forces who have been helping Allem, the group moved to the Iron Hall, where the Iron Golems reside.
"So, what's the plan now?"
"First, we'll raise Cecil's level to 89."
Allen swiftly laid out the next steps for their group.
